One Nation, Under God
Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope you get to share a turkey with your loved ones!
I just accidentally got to Malta in time to see the Nation's Christmas tree from Montana pass through Malta on a huge semi-trailer. The truck was painted with a beautiful Scene of trees! There was an escort of at least seven patrol cars. I did question why so many sheriff/police cars, at first, then I realized it was a prestigious event! I am proud of the fact that this tree is a gift to Washington DC from our state! Thank you to all the corporations who helped make this dream come true!
Friday and Saturday were tournaments for the North Country Junior High and Jamboree Mavericks!
The championships were won by the Junior high girls and the Jamboree girls! Great games!
On Tuesday Connie Wisher made lunch for me and brought it up to the school! Joining us were Tatum Moore and Jana Wisher! It was a wonderful surprise! Thank you, girls!
The Christmas season is soon upon us! At the Loring Lutheran Church, services will be at 9 a.m. on November 26, December 3, 10, 17, and 24th. The first day of Advent is on Dec. 3, the Angel tree will be decorated on the 10th with our angels. Everyone is invited to attend with us!
Cindy and Dave Clark took a pre-Christmas trip to Zortman to look at trees. She reported that they had a lovely drive, snipped a few greenery sprigs and enjoyed the views!
Have a wonderful week! Don't eat too much turkey! Spend some time napping, playing cards and watching the Macy's Parade!
