City of Malta Landfill closed on Sat./Sun.

Effective Immediately the City Landfill will no longer be open on Saturdays.

The City Landfill will be open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closed on Saturday & Sunday.

2017 Angel Program

Applications for the Angel Program are available at the Malta Food Bank for those who wish to receive gifts for their children from the program. Some restrictions apply. Donation cans to help support the Angel Program will soon be in local establishments.

VFW Auxiliary Meeting

11-8. The Malta VFW Auxiliary will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 8, at 6 p.m. at the VFW Club. Final arrangements for Veteran's Day dinner will be made. Please attend.

Dodson School Veteran's Assembly

11-9. "Honoring Our Veteran's" a Veteran's Day assembly will be held at the Dodson School Gym on Thursday, November 9 at 10:15 a.m. All communities are invited!

Martin Luther Dinner

11-9. The Martin Luther Dinner is Thursday, Nov. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Malta Lutheran Church. Take out available 654-1434.

HLRC Harvest Potluck

11-9. The Hi-Line Retirement Center Harvest Potluck Dinner will be Thursday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. Please bring a salad or dessert. Come enjoy an evening of food, fun and good conversation!

Whitewater Senior Class Turkey Bingo

11-9. On Thursday, November 9, the Whitewater High School senior class will be hosting turkey bingo with a dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. and bingo to follow at Whitewater School. This is a senior class fundraiser. For more info call Diana at 674-5417.

Veteran’s Day Closure

11-10. The Malta City Office, Shop & Landfill will close on Friday, November 10 for Veteran’s Day. Garbage pick-up will be delayed.

P.C. Library Closed

11-10. The Phillips County Library will be CLOSED on Friday, November 10, through Sunday, November 12, for the Veteran’s Day Holiday.

VFW Dinner

11-11. A Veteran's Day dinner at the Malta VFW will be Saturday, November 11. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Veteran's eat free, $2 for others. Dinner is open to all.

Rancher’s Stewardship Alliance meeting

11-13. The RSA will be holding its regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, November 13, at the Malta Business Center at 5 p.m. Get more information on the projects we are funding with funds from National Fish and Wildlife Federation, which includes grass seeding, fencing, water systems and more.

Saco Veteran’s Day Program

11-13. The Saco Schools will host a Veteran’s Day Program on Monday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. Cake and coffee following music performances in the school cafeteria.

MHS Jazz

11-14. The Malta High School Night at the Jazz Club will be held on Tuesday, November 14 starting at 7 p.m. at in the high school auditorium. Ice cream Sundays for intermission!! Come and enjoy!

Dodson School Thanksgiving Dinner

11-15. The Dodson School will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, November 15 at 11 a.m. All communities are welcome!

MT Veteran Affairs

11-16. On Thursday, November 16, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. CattleWomen & Stockgrowers Banquet

11-17. The annual CattleWomen and Stockgrowers banquet will be held November, 17 at the Tin Cup. Watering Hole starts at 6 p.m.

PC Livestock Association Meeting

11-17. The P.C. Livestock Association will have their Fall Meeting on Friday, Nov. 17th at 3:00 p.m. at the G.N. Lodge Room. Come see and listen to the guest speakers and we will conclude with a business meeting.

Grazing District Meeting

11-17. The annual meeting of the North/South Phillips County State Cooperative Grazing District will be Friday, Nov. 17th at the P.C. Library meeting room. North Phillips will meet at 10 a.m. and South Phillips will meet at 11 a.m. The joint meeting will be at 1 p.m.

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

11-18. International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is Saturday, November 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Malta Boys & Girls Club, 101 South 7th St. W. This event is free and open to the public. Call 654-2378, or contact Gina Lamb for further details.

Windows 10 Class

11-21. Phillips County Community Education Classes will host a free Windows 10 class held at the Malta High School Computer Lab on Tuesday, November 21 starting at 6 p.m. RSVP with PhillCo at 654-5525.

Board Leadership Training

11-29. A Board Leadership Training class will be held on Wednesday, November 29 at the Great Northern Lodge room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is a fee for this class which includes a meal. Register by contacting PhillCo at 654-5525 or the Malta Chamber at 654-1776.

Blood Drive

11-30. On Thursday, November 30, there will be a Blood Drive at Malta Lutheran Church from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

P.C. Heritage Arts Fair

12-3. The Phillips County Heritage Arts Fair will be held Sunday, December 3, at the Malta City Hall from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
