One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for October 4, 2017

Sympathy to the people in Puerto Rico and Mexico. My cousin, Ray Austin, is in Mexico. Hope he is okay.

Thank goodness Montana is not burning up from fires like it was during this past dry summer. The rains, cool weather and even snow in Western Montana helped put out the fires. What a wonderful thing.

The Whitewater Booster Club had a fundraiser for Forks Hall. It was at the North 40 and money was raised for the Forks Building, which was the stomping ground years ago, and maybe will be again. The info is in social media.

Lu Bessel attended a “quilt camp” in Zortman. They make quilts for days.

There will be a knitting class beginning on October 1 at 4 p.m. At the church. Call Lu for more information.

Jeanie Green is a “professional traveler.” Recently she went to Minnesota , Miles City and Great Falls visiting children and grandchildren.

Sunday, I went to Sleeping Buffalo to sit in the hot pool. The pools were packed with families with very small children. Maybe there should be a lifeguard on duty on the weekends?

Jean Green and some grandchildren; also Carrie and Jesse Simonson and children were swimmers on the day as well.

Dan Anderson put a new roof on Bob and Pat Anderson’s house; it looks nice. There are three men putting repairs on others roofs around Whitewater as well.

We had a cold spell, but today is warm and lovely. Enjoy the nice weather, it is almost fall.
