Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, September 6, Margo Rush and Bob Maxie were awarded first place. Lois Goodheart and Les Solberg came in second.

Monday winners were Madelyn Anderson and Bob Maxie. Bonnie Mil-lar and Gayle Stahl earned second.

Whist

On Tuesday, September 12, Jeanette Heinle notched 72 points to take first place, Nina Jones was low with 48 and the traveling prize was awarded to Lou Olson.

Pinochle

On Friday, September 15, Nancy Soennichsen scored a game-high 6,500 to capture first while Lou Olson’s 6,300 was good enough for second. The traveling prize was awarded to both Ken Ruzicka and Noel Emond.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, September 12, the team of Pearl and Curt won the first game by a 14-4 tally over Clara and Gloria and after the teams were reshuffled, the duo of Clara and Gloria earned a 13-2 win over Deloris and Pearl.

On Saturday, September 16, Curt and Agnes won the first game by a 14-9 score before Pearl and Clara evened the day with a 13-8 win.

"In all the games we all out did each other," Pearl said. "It was all fun."
