101st Equity Co-op meets

On Thursday, September 7, 2017 Equity Co-op held their 101st annual meeting.

Current Store manager Dale Kaasa presented the past manager Mark French with a Ruger American 17 HMR rifle. French served as the manager of Equity Co-op for 18 years and was at the meeting to give his last year report.

Janni Wiese, Office manager at Equity Co-op assisted in the meeting with registration and door prizes.

All current Equity Co-op employees were recognized and praised for outstanding service.

Wipfli gave the financial report and applauded the organized and well kept records of the co-op.

Elections were held and re-elected to offices were Frank Drabbs President, Bill McEwen Vice President and Gary Knudsen Secretary.

Orvin Solberg and Jim Murdock were re-elected to the Board of Directors. The joke was one for the “yes” vote and the other for the “no” vote so they cancel each other out.

As always a wonderful salad, beef and potatoes and cheesecake were enjoyed for dinner prepared by the Tin Cup.
