One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for September 6, 201

Sympathy to the family of Roger Ereaux.

Sympathy to flood victims in Texas and other places. It is too bad we don’t get some of the water in Montana.

Pat Anderson’s sister, Joyce Paranteau and her husband were guests of Pat and Bob recently in Whitewater.

There was a birthday party for Sally Austin on Sunday, Aug., 27 at the North 40. There was a huge crowd including many from out of town and out of state. All of Sally’s children and most of her grandchildren were here in Whitewater for the party. Pat Doncih (Sally’s Sister) came and Janet (Austin) Brown — my sister — were here for a visit and the party. Our cousins Clay and Marie Dunlap from Lewistown also attended (Clay was once the superintendent at Whitewater School years ago.) Our cousins from Hobson, Mont., Mary Anne and her husband also attended. Kenny and Kalvin Reichelt and Justin Austin (Sally’s son) and Archer (the grandbaby) came all the way from Colorado.

There were guests from Glasgow, Big Sandy, and also Kay Donaven from North Dakota. (If I missed anyone, I apologize.)

An honored guest was Terry Cole, Mayor of Dodson, and a good time was had by all.

It was good to see everyone from here and there.

Happy birthday, Sally and all August birthdays.

Note: One positive thing about the drought in Whitewater is that we do not have mosquitoes! Go for a walk!
