July 23, 2017

3:10 a.m. Several calls received reporting the smell of smoke; all callers advised wind was blowing it in from other fires.

4:36 a.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect from noon-9pm today; Fire Weather Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through evening.

7:28 a.m. Undersheriff received a report of a missing wallet.

8:12 a.m. More calls received reporting smelling smoke; callers advised was blowing in from other fires and not in Phillips Co; information passed onto KMMR to broadcast as well.

8:59 a.m. Local Ambulance and Fire Dept reported to the PCMS Drag Strip for the races.

10:59 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Glasgow; local EMT Crew responded to the call; request later canceled.

2:22 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am-9pm for Monday.

2:39 p.m. Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 9pm; Fire Weather Watch now in effect from Monday afternoon thru Monday evening.

3:08 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am-9pm Monday.

8:41 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am-9pm Monday.

8:53 p.m. Red Flag Warning will expire at 9pm; Red Flag Warning in effect from 1pm-9pm Monday.

9:17 p.m. Female reported a female at the Little Rockies Christian Camp who needed assistance; female’s family contacted, and went to pick her up.

July 24, 2017

2:22 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 9am-9pm today.

2:46 a.m. Fire Weather Watch is canceled.

8:51 a.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Garren Kirkwood, from PCSO Jail on bond.

9:58 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to Hi-Line Retirement Center to transport a patient to Glasgow for testing and back to Malta.

11:24 a.m. Female reported dead bats on her porch; ACO handled the call.

11:37 a.m. Female reported a fender/bender in the downtown area; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

12:22 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a possible stroke; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

1:21 p.m. Deputies performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2; all found to be okay, occupants were bird watching.

1:29 p.m. Local business reported a possible theft; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

1:39 p.m. Male reported two males who had warrants were at a local business; Deputies responded to the call; case files started.

1:51 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, David Conlon, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a MHP warrant, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Felony and Obstruction charges.

1:51 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Michael Kelsey, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a local warrant, Felony Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.

2:40 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm.

3:40 p.m. Female filed a written complaint about being harassed; Deputy handled the call.

7:11 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

8:45 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

9:54 p.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding “someone putting something in his water”; Deputy handled the call.

11:40 p.m. Female reported lots of smoke in the Dry Fork Road area; caller advised no reported fires and probably coming in from the other fires in the state.

11:53 p.m. Female reported possible animal abuse; ACO handled the call.

July 25, 2017

7:35 a.m. Female reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Strater crossing; information passed onto BNSF Police.

10:57 a.m. BLM Fire Dispatch requested assistance with a reported fire east of Malta; no fire located just alkali dust blowing.

11:18 a.m. Male reported a possible fire in the Fourchette Bay area; information passed onto BLM Fire Dispatch; they advised 3 Engine Crews were enroute and the fire was on the south side of the Missouri River.

11:20 a.m. Male reported a possible fire off of the Midale Road, south of Malta; Malta Fire Dept responded to the call; fire found to be the same as reported above and across the river; FD canceled and returned to the barn.

11:28 a.m. Saco Fire Dept reported a possible fire in the Saco hills that they were responding to; no fire located and trucks returned back to the barn.

1:57 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a civil matter; Sheriff handled the call.

2:17 p.m. Male reported a custom cutting crew traveling through and one vehicle was dragging a log chain; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicles located, stopped and advised.

2:18 p.m. Male reported another male driving without a license and a juvenile that was not in a car seat in the vehicle; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

4:13 p.m. Female requested law enforcement at the PC Hospital Clinic for a situation involving a patron; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; situation resolved without further incident.

4:39 p.m. Female requested assistance with getting keys back to a residence; Deputy handled the call.

6:02 p.m. Male reported an antelope with its horns stuck in a fence south of Malta; local Fish & Game Warden responded to the call; no antelope located in a fence in the reported area; several in the pasture but none in a fence.

6:56 p.m. Deputies performed a welfare check on a vehicle parked alongside of Hwy 191 s, near local businesses; all found to be okay, just waiting for help to arrive.

8:49 p.m. Male reported a Hit & Run to his vehicle and knew who the driver was that hit his vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:40 p.m. Female reported vandalism to her residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:18 p.m. Female reported hearing a “female screaming help” near a local residence; female advised happened about 25min ago; Deputies responded to the reported area; all found to be quiet and no one around.

11:53 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle with its hazard lights on, just east of Malta; all found to be okay, just stopped to restart their generator.

July 26, 2017

8:40 a.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Michael Garza, from PCSO Jail to Flathead Co Detention Center to meet with Lake Co SO Deputy and transfer custody to them.

10:03 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a business “giving out her keys”; Undersheriff handled the call.

12:35 p.m. Deputy transported two adult males, Michael Kelsey and David Conlon, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center for holding.

5:18 p.m. Male reported he was still missing his wallet.

7:54 p.m. 911 received reporting a non-injury accident on Hwy 191 south between the two Zortman turnoffs; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; MHP handled the crash.

8:14 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Maicon Grillo, from Glacier Co Detention Center to PCSO Jail to be incarcerated on Theft and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle charges.

9:07 p.m. Female reported damage to a door on her residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:44 p.m. Deputy received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle near the golf course; vehicle not located in the reported area.

July 27, 2017

8:40 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with threats she received; Deputy handled the call.

9:17 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 9pm tonight.

11:58 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 191 south; location confirmed as the same as the accident from last night; caller advised vehicle would be removed today.

Several more calls received reporting a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 191 south; callers advised was from the previous night.

3:06 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

5:38 p.m. Female reported a fire south of the Christian Camp near Landusky; Landusky, Zortman and BLM Fire Crews responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

5:43 p.m. Flash Flood Warning for west central Phillips until 845pm.

7:00 p.m. Several calls and 911s received reporting a fire in the Larb Hills in south Phillips Co; South Malta and Malta FD, BLM Fire Crews, Hinsdale and Long Run FD, along with many volunteers responded to the call; fire later contained and extinguished.

7:42 p.m. Male reported a possible theft of property; Deputy handled the call.

7:46 p.m. South Malta FD requested PC road graders to assist with the fire out south; information passed onto Co Commissioners.

11:33 p.m. Male reported a vehicle with a trailer with a flat tire on Hwy 191 south, near the Bear Gulch turnoff; local MHP Trooper responded to the call; vehicle followed into town to get assistance.

July 28, 2017

9:06 a.m. Male reported a stolen firearm; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; firearm recovered later in the day.

10:36 a.m. Fire Weather Watch in effect from Sunday morning through the evening.

12:09 p.m. Central Security reported an alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.

1:02 p.m. Female reported a vehicle speeding down an alley; Deputy handled the call.

1:26 p.m. Local convenience store reported a dog at their business that keeps coming inside; information passed onto ACO.

2:16 p.m. BLM Fire Dispatch requested a PC road grader come back down to the fire from last night and put a line around a hot spot; information passed onto County Commissioners; grader later responded to the call.

4:25 p.m. Female reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:11 p.m. Female requested extra patrol around the Veteran’s Memorial Park as events were starting to get set up for Crazy Days; information passed onto Deputies.

9:40 p.m. Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

9:45 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who had a seizure; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
