Dodson News for August 16, 2017

Gloria Blair, Bonnie Marney's mother, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Billings. Her funeral was Saturday, August 12. Condolences are sent to the extended Blair and Marney families.

Dora Henry attended a COA meeting in Malta on Wednesday.

Polly Solberg went to Ismay on Thursday to visit son Nathan's family for a few days and to attend the funeral of Luke Gonsioroski. Luke suffered from cancer and was young to die of it.

Visiting at the Cole home for the Fair weekend were Kathy and Quentin Copperage of Denton, Coleen, Langston and Cole Lueck, Matcee and Logan Handley of Billings as well as Kelly and Seth Radtke and their three children, Kaida, Sylvie and Corbin of Green River, Wyo. This past weekend, they had more visitors with Darik and Tylynn Coppedge. Quentin Coppedge came back with them for another visit. Wink and Terri hosted supper for the Coppedge's on Saturday with Steve and Tara Cole and the girls. Everyone went to Steve's on Sunday for dinner.

Birthday greetings are sent to Tammy Voice and all others having a birthday this week.

Get well wishes and prayers are sent to Mark Hebert for a speedy recovery.

Since the first weekend the weather has turned much cooler, to everyone's satisfaction. It's scary though how much earlier it gets dark now.

Hope everyone gets to see the eclipse on the 21st----but please remember to protect your eyes!!

When you have an argument with your spouse, don't drag things out of your mental museum.

Have a good week and give thanks we do not have all the smoke and ash they are having over a lot of Montana from all the fires.
