P.C Fair hosts AMX Event One

The AMX Races at the Phillips County Fair featured plenty of suspense as 22 racers raced in the event’s Super and Stock Classes on Saturday, August 5 at the Dodson Grandstand during the 102nd Annual Phillips County Fair.

It was the first AMX event of the year due to the first event being cancelled due to a broken water line in early June.

The fair’s Super Class A Main (championship) was won by Brett Jaynes of Dodson, after a controversial call in which Havre’s Duke Thomas was black flagged.

“It’s great,” Jaynes said. “Kind of a controversial finish there but I came out on top.”
