One Nation, Under God
A recent article in the Society Star made me stop and think about our Museum volunteers. Our volunteers are the beat that keeps the PC Museum going. The real value of our volunteers can never be measured as they bring such diverse talents to the museum. A rough estimate of our volunteer hours since the beginning of January 2017 is approximately 2,000 hours. In monetary value those hours are equal to a full-time employee for 6 months. Thank-you volunteers you are so valuable. Our volunteers wear many hats including flower garden care, help to make new displays, provide educational tours to school groups, assist in fundraisers for the museum, assist in all our social gatherings and receptions, assist with entries in our computer program, help with our filing, upkeep and decorating in the gift shop, share woodworking skills, and many more activities. Thank you for helping us to share Phillips County History with our local, out of state and international visitors. If you have a few hours to donate please call we look forward to visiting with you. Museum hours are 10-5 Monday through Saturday.
