Notice of Close of Regular Registration for the City of Malta
Notice is hereby given that regular* registration for the City of Malta Primary Election to be held on September 12, 2017, will close at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, August 14, 2017.
*NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the Phillips County Election Office up to and including on Election Day. Between noon and the close of business on the day before Election Day, you can complete and submit a voter registration card, but you will need to return to the Phillips County Election Office on Election Day to pick up and vote a ballot.
All active and inactive**electors of the City of Malta are entitled to vote at said election.
**Ballots will be automatically mailed to Active Electors only of the City of Malta. If you are a registered voter and do not receive a ballot, contact the Phillips County Election Office to update your information as necessary and receive a ballot.
Persons who wish to register and who are not presently registered may do so by requesting a form for registration by mail or by appearing at the Phillips County Election Office. If you have moved, please update your registration information by filling out a new voter registration card and submitting it to the Phillips County Election Office.

Notice of Public Hearings
The Malta City Council will conduct two public hearings on August 8, 2017 at 5:20 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall. The purpose of the public hearings is to receive public comment(s) on the annual street maintenance assessment and the annual street lighting assessment for 2017/18.
Persons and/or agent(s) may appear in person or send written comments to Mayor Jones, PO Box 1300,
Malta, MT 59538 no later than 5 p.m. August 8, 2017.

The Dodson Board of Trustees, District 2A-C, will meet on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the school library to adopt the final budget for the
2017-2018 school year, including Impact Aid.
The meeting may be continued from day to day until the budget is adopted. Any taxpayer in the Dodson District or any person affected by Impact Aid may attend any portion of the trustees' meeting and be heard on the budget of the district on any item or amount contained in the budget pursuant to Section 20-9-115, MCA.

An audit of the affairs of Dodson School District 2A(C), Dodson, Montana, has been conducted by Denning, Downey & Associates, P.C. The audit covered the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016.
The audit also covered the Extracurricular Fund for pupil functions which is included in the financial statements of the District. A copy of the audit report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016 is on file in its entirety and open to public inspection at the office of Connie Jones,
