One Nation, Under God
Polly Solberg attended a meeting in Malta on Wednesday.
Dora Henry spent Wednesday in Havre having her car looked after, medical and shopping.
Bill Henry and one of his workmen stopped to check on his mom, Dora Henry, on Friday. Bill has been worried how the extreme heat has been affecting older people like his mom.
It was good to have Jim and Kelly Solberg, Sid and Merrimae Solberg and Charlie and Sharon Kienenberger at services at the Lutheran Church on Sunday. They had come to attend Art Solberg's 85th birthday party on Friday in Malta. Polly and Edward had family staying with them that had come for the Party.
Although it was not a very large rainstorm, the one on Saturday night was welcomed for the moisture it gave us. The heat dries things so fast we need all we can get.
Polly ran over a large snake in downtown Dodson this week and was sure it was a rattlesnake. We have had them in town before.
The fairgrounds are seeing lots of activity and the Bear's are busy getting everything in shape for the fair which starts August 3rd. Not very much longer to prepare.
Greetings to everyone having a birthday or anniversary this week.
I believe that you're here on Earth for a short time, and while you're here, you shouldn't forget it.
Have a good week and stay in away from the heat as much as you can.
