On Monday, June 26, Roger Ereaux bettered Clarence Blunt by a point, 52-51, to take first place. Blunt finished in second and the traveling prize was awarded to Sherman Doucette.
Pinochle
On Thursday, June 22, Barb Stevens paced the crowd with 6,450 points to take first place. Gail Sadler earned a spot on the leader board with 5,980 points on her way to a second place finish and the traveling prize was awarded to both Roy Baeth and Clarence Jacobson.
Hi-Line Whist
On Tuesday, June 20, the team of Clara and Curt won the lone match of the day by a 13-4 tally over Delores and Pearl.
"They were too good for us," Pearl praised of her counterparts.
On Thursday, June 22, Agnes and Clara won the first match by a 16-10 tally before Pearl and Curt got in the winner's bracket with a 14-1 win.
"We were down, but back we came," Pearl reported.
