One Nation, Under God

Loring News for June 14, 2017

The yucca blossoms on the Milk River Road are just glorious this year! The sweet clover is in full bloom also. At the Assiniboine Creek the Messerly’s have a beautiful field of pink blooms!

I saw a cluster of young bucks yesterday that were in their velvet! The circle of life goes on!

Just to bring back memories of my early childhood, a friend, Fran Compton, and I had a sleep-over on Tuesday. We drove to the border and then to Smith Coulee in search of Lowrane, an early town. We were about 6 miles too far north, but it was a fun trip! We also visited the cemetery at Blooming Prairie.

A moose has been reported in the area. I heard that it had made its way to Whitewater now!

Many Loringites journeyed to Billings to take in the Garth Brooks show over the weekend. Whitney and Jay Blunt and Heather and Kourtney Simonson really enjoyed it!

I had the pleasure to visit with Dorothy Johnson and have lunch with her on Friday. She is as feisty as ever!

Most of the brandings are completed and the cows are out to summer pasture. The guys are mostly spraying for weeds now and praying for rain!

Donna Seel stopped in to visit with me at the GPDM this week. She and Shorty live in Washington.

Cindy and Dave Clark spent a day in Great Falls visiting with Becca and Robert Engum.

Remember the Loring Picnic Fund raiser on June 23 at 6!

Have a great week, Peeps, enjoy your summer!
