5-23. On Tuesday, May 23, Roger Ereaux took first place, Margaret Leader took second and the traveling prize was awarded to Sherman Doucette.

5-30. On Tuesday, May 30, Clarence Blunt took first place with 49, Jeannette Heinle was second with 40 and the traveling prize was awarded to Harvey Smith.

Pinochle

5-25. On Thursday, May 25, high was Sherman Doucette with 6,500, second was Von Holzhey with 5,800 and the traveling prize was awarded to both Clarence Blunt and Bard Stevens.

6-1. On Thursday, June 2, Leonard Leader scored 6,430 to secure first place. Roger Ereaux's 6,040 was good for second and both Roger and Ken Ruzicka were awarded the traveling prize.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, May 30, Pearl and Byron defeated Clara and Curt in the lone contest of the day.

"It's easy to win when he plays," Pearl said of Byron.

On Friday, June 2, Pearl and Clara defeated Agnes and Curt, 14-2, in the first contest of the day before the team of Agnes and Byron won back-to-back games over Pearl and Clara, 13-0 and 14-8.

"We were doing good and then best player came and down we went," Pearl reported of Byron. "Phew, we will miss him when he leaves."

Malta Duplicate Bridge

The Charity game held Wednesday, May 24, saw Frances Slade and Margo Rush capture first place. Second place went to Les Solberg and Byron Ereaux.

On the Following Wednesday, Margo and Les earned first place. Second was awarded to Malcolm Clouse and John Norgon.
