Howl at the Moon Kayak Event

6-9. On Friday, June 9, Malta Trails is hosting a Howl at the Moon Kayak Event at Nelson Reservoir starting at 7 p.m. to dark. The event will start at Art and Mary Lundstrom’s cabin, near the State Park, and there will be signs up. For more information, contact Laura Pankratz at 390-3460.

P.C. Historical Society Meeting

6-12. The Phillips County Historical Society's regular meeting will be held Monday, June 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. Everyone welcome!

Dirt Daubers meeting

6-12. The Malta Dirt Daubers will meet at the PC Museum on Monday, June 12 at 5 p.m. We will car pool to Bowdoin Refuge to hear a program on aquatic plants and birds. Bring a sack supper. The public is most welcome.

Caregivers Class

6-14. Starting on Wednesday, June 14, a six-class series designed to support caregivers of adults will start and take place every other Wednesday until completion. MT Veteran Affairs

6-15 On Thursday, June 15, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Wine and Dino

6-16. The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum and Phillips County Museum Annual Wine & Dino is Friday, June 16 at 6 p.m.

M-ette Basketball Camp

6-19-thru-21. The Malta M-ette basketball camp will be held June 19th – 21st at the Malta High School gym from 9 a.m. to noon for girls entering 3rd – 8th grades. For more information or an entry form please call Nate Hammond at 301-1889.

Correction: Loring Community Picnic and Fundraiser

6-23. On Friday, June 23, the Loring Community Picnic and Fundraiser for the Loring Hall floor will start at 6 p.m. at Loring Hall. Barbecued beef with Gail’s homemade buns, salads and desserts will be on the menu. Don't be square, be there and bring a chair!

Phillips County Picnic in Billings
