Saco names Christian Menge valedictorian of Class of '17

Saco Schools have announced that Christian Menge is the valedictorian of the Class of 2017.

Christian is the son of Bobbi and Russell Menge of Saco. He compiled a 3.5 grade point average during his time in high school.

Saco's graduation will be Saturday, May 20 starting at 2 p.m. in the school's gymnasium. Joining Christian in graduation will be classmate Jamison Schaaf. There will also be a junior high graduation during the event.

Saco Schools have chosen Chris Pippin as the graduation speaker.

Christian plans to attend Montana State University-Billings and will pursue a degree in PT Tech. He is a four-year member of the high school basketball and golf teams, a one-year member of the high school golf team and a four-year member of the Saco Band and Choir. Christian is also active in NHS (2 years), BPA (4 years), TSA (3 years), 4H (8 years) and Student Council (3 years).
