Malta, Dodson and Saco to hold Mayor and Council elections

The first day for candidates to file for city and town offices is April 20, 2017. Current mayors and Council members whose terms will expire are:

City of Malta – 4 year terms

Mayor – Shyla Jones;

Ward 1 Council Member – David Rummel

Ward 2 Council Member – Bonnie Wiederrick

Town of Dodson – 4 year terms

Mayor – Terri Cole

Two Council Members – Caleb Best and Jessica Fetter

Town of Saco – 4 year terms

Mayor – Clint Simpson

Two Council Members – Gayle Hammond and Craig Robinson

The last day for candidates to file for city and town offices is Tuesday, June 19, 2017 at 5 p.m. Any person wishing to file for office who is a registered voter within the city limits of Malta, Dodson or Saco may obtain the required forms and fee information from the Election Office located in the Courthouse at 314 South 2nd Avenue West or by calling 406.654.2423.
