One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 19, 2017

Greetings everyone! I'm hoping that you all had a special Easter holiday! I certainly did. Rod and his family were here for the weekend and we went to the GPDM on Saturday because I had a previous tour scheduled. On Sunday we attended Loring Lutheran Church and Zoey Marie was baptized in a very special ceremony. Easter brunch at the church was enjoyed by many neighbors and relatives. Matt Norville's parents were here from White Hall. Brenda Clark's mom was visiting her grandkids. Also Becca and Robert Engum from Great Falls spent the weekend with Cindy and Dave Clark. Ruth and John Flansaas also made the drive from Malta to enjoy the great grand kids singing for the first time at Church! They did a great song! Speaking of songs...I heard a flicker yesterday! And the female robins have finally reached us! Carol Lumsden and I picked some yellow bells on our way home from school on Wednesday! I didn't get a tick this time! I got the coolest note from Bette Dyrdahl last week. She had read an article in the newspaper from Helena and it reminded her of me. It was about spring coming and the hope of everlasting life for us. Also it said to pay attention to the sun, moon and stars because as we recognize what is happening around us, the more we realize the special gift the Lord has given us! Spring is here! It's time to wake up! ( The author of the article was Roger Lynn, a pastor from Plymouth Congregational Church.) I also received a note from Marjorie Olsen with a clipping from the PCN with an article about the Loring Hall having a 50th birthday written by Gwen Henderson. It was fascinating! I know I read it before, but nearly 35 years ago! Wow! Have a great week!
