Phillips County Sheriff's Report for April, 5, 2017

Please be advised the Phillips Co Sheriff’s Office is no longer doing GVW Term or Trip permits. These are the yearly and 3-day permits for the over-width/height/weight that most semi trucks and trailers need. You can access these permits by going to http://www.mdt.mt.gov, then go to Doing Business-Commercial Motor Carriers-Permitting. Or you can call 406-444-7262, with questions.

March 17, 2017

10:16 p.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for one vehicle involved in a previously reported crash; local towing company responded per the request of the registered owner.

10:29 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; no physical contact made between the parties; reporting party just wanted the other party removed from the location; male left on his own accord.

11:28 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Kyler Isakson, to PCSO to be incarcerated on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs-Methamphetamine-Felony, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacturing Drug Paraphernalia charges; case file started.

March 18, 2017

1:09 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing an intoxicated male from her residence; Deputies responded to the call; male left on his own accord.

2:44 a.m. Deputy received a report of a male possibly walking down Front St with a gun; Deputies responded to the call; male later located at a residence and all was okay.

5:54 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible DUI on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; driver found to be having a possible diabetic attack and family was contacted; male later located and was okay.

11:08 a.m. Individuals requested assistance with an eviction situation; Deputy handled the call.

11:11 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having a seizure in an alley downtown; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

3:42 p.m. Local business requested extra patrol in their area.

5:42 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a possibly missing juvenile; Deputies and Dept of Family Services responded to the call; juvenile located and was okay.

10:41 p.m. Deputies assisted local MHP Trooper with a possible DUI traffic stop; case file started.

11:08 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Joshua Flickinger, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-4th-Felony and No Insurance charges.

March 19, 2017

1:47 a.m. Male requested extra patrol around a local business.

5:39 a.m. Local business reported a suspicious vehicle in the business’ parking lot; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, driver was just resting.

11:42 a.m. 911 received reporting a disturbance at a residence on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:10 p.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Serena Stine, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault charges.

12:14 p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, Dane Dvorshak, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault charges.

4:17 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Troy Salveson, from PCSO Jail on time served.

7:22 p.m. Female reported a possible Absconder from Parole at a county residence; Deputies responded to the call; female not located in Phillips Co.

March 20, 2017

8:19 a.m. Female reported a missing set of keys.

12:57 p.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle parked on her property; Undersheriff responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

1:00 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with an unwanted male who keeps coming onto the caller’s property; Undersheriff handled the call.

1:39 p.m. Central Security reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.

1:49 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult female, Katrina Halbert, from PCSO Jail on time served.

3:08 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult female, Serena Stine, from PCSO Jail on bond.

4:42 p.m. Female requested PCSO assistance with a situation involving another female and a male who was in Yellowstone Co; Undersheriff handled the call.

5:37 p.m. Male reported a fender/bender near the downtown area; both vehicles had been removed from the accident location; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

7:21 p.m. Female reported a loose dog in her neighborhood; ACO handled the call.

11:23 p.m. PC Hospital reported a suspicious vehicle in their parking lot; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle was not in the lot upon Deputy’s arrival.

March 21, 2017

6:51 a.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 2, near Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; deer humanely euthanized; white form issued.

8:41 a.m. Female reported someone had been in her residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

8:50 a.m. Sheriff released one adult male, Kyler Isakson, from PCSO Jail to be transported to Valley Co SO by MHP Trooper.

11:25 a.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Joshua Flickinger, from PCSO Jail to be transported to Valley Co SO by MHP Trooper.

3:27 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Dane Dvorshak, from PCSO Jail on bond.

5:34 p.m. Individuals requested a welfare check on a possibly suicidal female at an unknown location; Deputy responded to the call; family member located and female was okay.

8:31 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 2, west of Malta; airbags had been deployed but no injuries to occupants; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; deer removed from Hwy 2 and MT Dept of Transportation advised.9:19 p.m. Male requested extra patrol around a Dodson residence; information passed onto Deputies.

March 22, 2017

12:35 p.m. Female reported possible suspicious activity by a family member that was in the Malta area; information passed onto Undersheriff, local MHP Trooper and surrounding counties.

3:38 p.m. Local American Legion member reported they would be firing blanks from their new weapons behind the VFW Club.

3:51 p.m. Male reported a possible break-in to a residence in the Dodson area; caller wasn’t sure when it happened; Deputy handled the call.

6:12 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with “bugging equipment”, he believed was being used on his person; Deputy handled the call.

8:33 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a family member; Deputy responded to the call; individual advised to take the family member to the hospital for an evaluation.

9:35 p.m. Anonymous reported suspicious activity in the alley behind the residence; vehicles were “blocking the alley”; Deputy responded to the call; no vehicles or persons located in the reported area.

March 23, 2017

10:32 a.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Cassandra Wood, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a Probation & Parole warrant; case file started.

11:21 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with unwanted phone calls; Undersheriff responded to the call; female located and advised to stop calling the male or citations could be issued.

12:23 p.m. Deputy and Reserve Deputy transported one adult female, Cassandra Wood, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

1:23 p.m. Female filed a written complaint about being harassed; Undersheriff handled the call.

2:48 p.m. Male reported a Toll Booth ticket scam; Undersheriff handled the call.

2:51 p.m. NorthWestern Energy reported a downed line going across Hwy 243 to a residential street; repairman was enroute; Deputy and Reserve Deputy responded to the call for traffic control until the line could be removed.

5:23 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

5:55 p.m. Male reported a possible theft of items from a few weeks past; caller didn’t want it investigated as he wasn’t for sure; Deputy handled the call.

8:47 p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop; Deputies responded to the call.

10:36 p.m. Female requested an uninvited male be removed from her residence; Deputies responded to the call; male taken to another residence for the night.

March 24, 2017

8:47 a.m. Fire Protection Services reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.

9:19 a.m. Male reported a loan scam.

3:04 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Troy Salveson, into PCSO Jail to serve time on sentencing.

3:42 p.m. Male reporting a power outage at his residence north of Malta; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

4:23 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who fell in Zortman; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

7:34 p.m. Pondera Co SO requested PCSO assistance with a found set of Phillips Co license plates; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:05 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a male who had just lost his job; Deputies responded to the call; male later located and was okay.
