On Tuesday, March 28, Leonard Leader took first with 55 while Harvey Smith and Roger Ereaux tied for second with 46 each. The traveling prize was awarded to Jeanette Heinle.
Pinochle
On Thursday, March 30, Shirley Jones ruled the day after netting 6,230 for a first place finish. Jeanette Heinle scored 5,540, good for second, and shared the traveling prize with Leonard Leader.
Hi-Line Whist
On Tuesday, March 28, Delores and Clara mopped the floor with Gloria and Pearl, winning in convincing fashion three times, 13-2, 14-1 and 15-3.
"We fell in a deep hole and couldn't get out," Pearl reports.
On Friday, March 31, Pearl enacted some revenge as she and teammate Agnes defeated Curt and Clara in two straight, 15-7 and 17-6.
"We got cards that couldn't be beat," said Pearl.
Malta Duplicate Bridge
Monday, March 20, saw Keith Stine and Cathy Salsbery capture first place. Second place was awarded to Margo Rush and Frances Slade.
On the following Monday, March 27, Lois Goodheart and Keith earned first. Second went to Frances and John Norgon.
