The meadowlark has arrived! Spring is here!
Rodney Stordahl and Dixie Stordahl traveled to Billings to visit family and Dixie was involved with the science expo for the Montana Dinosaur Trail.
Carol Lumsden attended a quilting retreat in Malta over the weekend. On Saturday evening a group of quilters went to the movie “The Shack”. Carol said she really enjoyed it. She says that it’s one that you can watch a couple of times.
Loring Woman’s Club was held at Heather Simonson’s on Thursday. Connie Wasson, Dixie Stordahl and Brenda Clark attended. We visited and had coffee since there was no quorum.

Carol Lumsden and Char Wasson traveled to Great Falls for a field trip with the 6-12 students from Whitewater. They toured the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and the Great Fall Museum. Many of the students stayed overnight and .went skiing the next day. No injuries were reported.
The Loring Stockyards is getting a face lift! It is looking good! You won’t recognize Loring when you come through it with the new stockyards wood and the church in a different spot!
Ok, since I’ve heard the song of the meadowlark, my next goal is to see the posies that I like in the spring, the yellowbell worts, crocuses and buttercups. That’s enough to get started on!
