On Tuesday, March 7, Kevin Stevens scored 55 on his way to a first place finish. Roger Ereaux netted 53 good for second place and the traveling prize was awarded to Jerry Depute.

Pinochle

On Thursday, March 9, Jerry Depute was high-man with 5,670 and was closely followed by Von Holzhey who scored 5,480 and finished in second place. The traveling prize was awarded to both Lou Olson and Jeanette Heinle.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, March 7 the team of Clara and Delores faced-off with the team of Curt and Pearl and, at the end of the day, arrived at a stalemate 15-7 and 16-11 to split the day’s action.

On Friday, March 10, Curt and Agnes ruled the day, winning all three matches; 17-2, 13-3 and 15-8.

“We were in the rear and couldn’t get in gear,” Pearl said of her team’s Friday drubbing.
