One Nation, Under God
MALTA-Ronald N. Anderson, 74, a retired carpenter, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, at his home of natural causes.
Memorial services were 1 p.m. Saturday, February 18, at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta. Cremation has taken place. Condolences for the family may be left kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.
Ronnie was born on August 10, 1942 in Malta, Mont., to Norman and Ruth Anderson. He attended school in Saco and Whitewater. He married Alice (Crowder) Anderson on February 4, 1961. After living and working in several different locations, they moved back to Malta in 1971 where they have since resided and raised seven, yes, seven children.
He enjoyed carpentry and plowing snow up until he retired, listening to George Strait, shooting the breeze, and watching old westerns. He was a practical jokester, sometimes to the extreme. He shared his love in laughing and playing pranks on his wife, kids and grandkids and that legacy is carried on through many of them.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Norman, his mother, Ruth, one brother, Albert (Buddy), a son-in-law, Alan Haines, and a grandson, Spencer Barnes.
He is survived by Alice, his wife of 56 years, five daughters, Rhonda (Kevin) Seitz of Culbertson, Laurie (Dan) Enebo of Glasgow, Brenda Haines of Maple Valley, Wash., Tina (Will) Biggs of Billings, Jamie (Jason) Fladland, of Helena, two sons, Ron (Debbie) Anderson, Jr. of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Dan Anderson of Malta, 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
