Veseth Cattle holds 10th annual Bull sale at Pavilion

Wednesday, February 22 the Veseth Cattle Company of Malta held their 10th annual Bull Sale at the Pavilion.

Dale and Janet Veseth wanted to do something special in appreciation to their customers.

Veseth Cattle Co. and co-sponsor Lewistown Honda raffled off a new 425cc Honda 4x4 ATV.

A second prize of $500 in “Bull Dollars” was awarded and taken off of purchases.

For every $1000.00 a customer spent on Veseth cattle a ticket was put into the raffle drum courtesy of the First State Bank of Malta.

At the end of the well attended sale the two lucky winners were: Scott Klind the Honda ATV and Hial Steele the $500 “Bull Dollars”.

Klind of Torrington Livestock was buying cows for Lance Thiry from White Lake, SD. Klind is taking the 4-wheeler to Thiry.

The Phillips County CattleWomen served the crowd Veseth Cattle Co. burgers barbecued in the arena, complete with fried onions, potato salad, coleslaw, and apple cake topped off this great complimentary noon meal.

David Score, Dan Waters and Jerey McEwen all of Malta each individually consigned cattle at the Veseth sale, also.
