Les was born on January 28, 1959, in Havre, to Henry and Helen (Hardwick) Bebee. He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1977, when he began working for IGA in Havre. On June 14, 1980, Les married Kathy Charlton in Malta, and the couple had two sons. They made their home in Havre until 1984 when they moved to Lewistown, where Les worked for IGA there until 1994. At that time, the family returned to Havre, and Les began working for the Hill County Cemetery District, where he remained until his retirement in 2011.

Les enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Jarrett, The Walking Dead, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to watch his son Nick play sports, and hunting with his son Keith was always treasured. More recently, Les enjoyed woodworking and driving around with his faithful companion, Diesel.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Byron and Georgia Bebee, and Ernest and Mildred Hardwick; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Florence Charlton.

Les is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathy Bebee, of Havre; his sons Nicholas and Keith (Breanna Christianson) Bebee, all of Havre; his three grandchildren, Tavin Trethewey and Raylee and Kiley Bebee; his parents Henry and Helen Bebee of Havre; his sister Karen (Anthony) Lancaster of Scotts Hill, Tenn .; his brother, Randy (Cindy) Bebee of Whitefish; and numerous nieces and nephews.
