The local level of the Knights of Columbus Free-Throw competition was held Sunday, January 29th with 49 shooters competing. Winners are as follows: Age 9 Girls: Kelbie Marks Boys: Mason Simanton, Age 10 Girls: Jessa Erickson Boys: Bohdi Brenden, Age 11Girls: Samme Gibbs Boys: Carson Ottinger, Age 12 Girls: Allison Kunze Boys: Jared Eggebrecht, Age 13 Girls: no shooters Boys: Carmen Mears, Age 14 Girls: Erica Smith Boys: Kooper Oxarart
Outstanding scores for the came from Mason Simanton 12/15, Bohdi Brenden 11/15, Samme Gibbs 13/15, Carson Ottinger 12/15 and Jared Eggbrecht 12/15. Winners will now advance to Havre for the District Championship to be help in February to compete against local winners from Chester and Havre.
It was the fifth staight year Kooper Oxarart has won his age bracket in as many years competiing.
