'Too Marvelous For Words' playing at MHS on Monday

The Northeastern Arts Network is bringing another outstanding professional musical group to our Malta community.

Too Marvelous For Words a Nat King Cole Tribute will bring their instrumental/vocal artistry to enlighten and entertain you performing on the piano, bass and guitar. Be prepared to tap your feet as you enjoy the tribute to the late Nate King Cole. Created by Rob Perkins and Peter Smith, Too Marvelous For Words, A Celebration of the Nat 'King' Cole is a fun and swingin' journey into the early days of Nat 'King' Cole.

Before The Christmas Swing and Mona Lisa that we know from the crooner standing in front of the orchestra, Nat was recording and playing (from the piano bench) some of the tastiest and most influential music of the day, leaving not only an array of singers but also pianists.

Drawing on his experience as both an actor and a singer/pianist, Peter Smith (co-creator) effortlessly weaves stories from this period in Nat 'King' Cole's life as they relate to the song selections, creating an evening that is fun, informative and leaves the audience humming and pondering Nat's life.

Tickets will be available at the door and students with activity passes get in for free. Monday, February 6th – 7:00 p.m. – Malta High School Auditorium.
