On Tuesday, January 24, Lou Olson took first place, bettering Harvey Smith by one point, 42-41, to take first place. Harvey finished in second while Nina Jones was awarded the traveling prize.

Pinochle

On Thursday, January 26, Leonard Leader racked-up a whopping 6,350 good for first place while Sherman Doucette’s 4,820 netted him second. The traveling prize was awarded to both Leonard and Clarence Blunt.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, January 24 Clara and Curt bested Gloria and Pearl by a 17-12 tally.

"As Curt said 'it was a really fun game and it turned out great'," Pearl reported.

On Friday, January 27, Clara and Gloria split the action on the day, winning the first game 13-11 before Pearl and Curt battled back for a 13-3 win.

"Another fun game that turned out great for us," Pearl said.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, January 18, Donna Olson and Bonnie Millar came in first. Margo Rush and Madelyn Anderson earned second place.

Monday winners were Margo and Bonnie. Second place was earned by Byron Ereaux and Cathy Salsbery.
