The annual Phillips County 4-H Demonstration Day was held in the Malta Library basement on Wednesday, January 22, 2017. There were five 4-H youths who participated in a demonstration or an illustrated talk.
Senior members Parker and Pierce Mortenson gave a demonstration on "DIY Dog Items". They received a blue ribbon and the overall plaque sponsored by Phillips County Title Company.
Participating in the Advance Junior division with an illustrated talk was: Jaydyn Erickson with "Time to Shine". She received a blue ribbon and the overall plaque sponsored by Jason and Jamie Ulrich.
In the Beginning Junior division, Jessa Erickson gave a demonstration on "Hopping to Fair" and Laytin Erickson's demonstration was "Pin to Win". Both youth received blue ribbons and the overall plaque sponsored by Lloyd's Auto Supply was awarded to Laytin.
A big thank you goes out to our judges this year: Shyla Clausen, Lynda Brown and Ashley Stuart. Thanks also to the Cross Country 4-H Club for hosting the event.
