One Nation, Under God
Last year the Chamber recognized four residents with a quarterly Person of Influence Award. This award strives to honor those individuals in Phillips County who go above and beyond to make this area a great place to live and work; whose contributions may otherwise go unnoticed.
Laura Pankratz, Cheryl Voegel, Don Bagley and Travis Rhoads were all nominated by someone in the community and selected by the Chamber members to receive the award in 2016. Another five individuals, Lori Abrahamson, Valerie Kill Eagle, Teresa Embree, Shannan Fried and Jennifer Strzelczyk were nominated and received letters of recognition for their work in the community. Their accomplishments truly do make this a better place to live.
Nomination forms for this year’s Person of Influence Award are now available, with the first awardee to be voted on at the February 21st Member’s meeting and recognized at the March meeting. Now is the time to get your nominations in. Future quarterly awards will be given out in June, September and December.
You need not be a Chamber member to nominate someone or be nominated, this is open to all.
Awardees receive a keepsake certificate, recognition at a Chamber member meeting, and coverage in local media. All nominees receive a letter of recognition. Nominations, once made are good for the entire year.
Go to the Chamber’s Facebook page to access the online nomination link, or contact Dina at [email protected], 654-1776 to request a paper copy.
