On Tuesday, January 17, Jerry Depute bettered Leonard Leader by a single point, 47-46, to capture first place. Leader's efforts earned him a second place finish and the traveling prize was awarded to Roy Baeth.

Pinochle

On Thursday, January 19, Shirley Jones notched a first place finish after tallying a score of 6,400. Leonard Leader's 5,950 was good for second place and the traveling prize was awarded to both Shirley and Leonard.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, January 17, the team of Curt and Pearl swept Gloria and Clara in two straight, 13-2 and 15-10.

"We voodooed the cards," Pearl reported. "Curt said it was fun."

On Friday, January 20, Agnes and Pearl bested Curt and Clara in two straight, 16-11 and 13-4 (Ann sitting-in in the second game.)

"They really made us work," Pearl said. "Next time will be theirs."

Malta Duplicate Bridge

Wednesday, January 11 saw Margo Rush and Madelyn Anderson capture first place. Second was awarded to Keith Stine and Bonnie Millar.

Monday winners were Malcolm Clouse and Cathy Salsbery. Bonnie Millar and Ken Ruzicka earned second place.
