Red Cross News for the week of December 14, 2016

The American Red Cross blood drive was held Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Malta Lutheran Church with a very successful show of blood donors even with the holiday season upon us.

There were 55 presenters for possible donations with three deferred resulting with a of number of 52 successful donors. The Malta area once again met their goal with the most precious gift of all: blood.

Pins earned for donating went to Julisa Simanton and James Layton for 2 gallons; Warren Kapp for five gallons; Glenda Knudsen for six gallons; Deanna Hanson, Lulu Besel and Janice Kirkwood for eight gallons. Tom Go...
