Loring News for December 14, 2016

Wishing all my readers a blessed season full of surprises!

Dixie Stordahl attended the wedding of Keith Cowan and Sarah Young in Great Falls this weekend. Dixie's brother, Scott Cowan of Phoenix, Ross Cowan of Denver, David, Brandie and Rocco Stordahl of Billings, also were there for the weekend. We also visited the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and watched the mermaid at the Tiki Bar!

Loring community has received a bounty of snow this last couple of days! Looks like Christmas will be white!

Jay and Whitney Blunt and family spent a few days with Joanne and Jim Slade in Billings. They also visited with the Anthony's who used to live in our area.

The Loring Lutheran Church will not be moved until after Christmas now. We will continue to have services in the church building for now.

The basketball people from our area were on the road to Lewistown this past weekend. Dixie Stordahl stopped in Chinook long enough to visit Dorothy Johnson at Sweet Memorial!

It was good to see her so happy! Until next time, keep your feet dry!
