The following application has been submitted to change a water right in the state of Montana.
The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation proposes to grant an application to change a water right. Described below are the pertinent facts which summarize the application. Proposed change: The proposed change is to protect 3.86 CFS of water from May 1- October 1 for Instream Fishery purpose while retiring 1,034 acres from irrigation. The applicant will continue to irrigate 150 acres in the N2 section 27 and W2NW Section 26 of Township 26N, Range 29E. The protected Instream Fishery reach will be on Beaver Creek from the nenene Section 27, Township 26N, Range 29E, down to the swse section 18, Township 26n, range 30E.
