On Monday, November 14, Pearl and Curt had the Super Moon on their side and defeated Gloria and Clara in two straight, 14-7 and 14-3.

“We just got lucky,” Pearl said.

On Friday, November 19, Agnes and Clara ruled the day, defeating the team of Pearl and Gloria in two straight games, 17-6 and 14-2 for the sweep.

“We were all sauced on apple cider,” Pearl said, “but they were saucier.”

Whist

On Tuesday, November 15, Nancy Soennichsen was high player with 51, Nina Jones ranked second with 43 and the traveling prize was awarded to Nancy.

Pinochle

On Thursday, November 17, Ron Lundman totaled 7,060 good for first place, Nina Jones notched 5,790 good for second and the traveling prize was awarded to both Shirley Jones and Lou Olson.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, November 2, Bonnie Millar and Byron Ereaux came in first. Second was awarded to Keith Stine and Malcolm Clouse.

Monday, November 14, saw Byron Ereaux and Malcolm Clouse capture first. Bob Maxie and Keith Stine earned second.
