5th Annual Putt Crawl Nov. 5 in Malta

Tee up for a great time on Saturday, November 5 at the 5th Annual Malta Putt Crawl, sponsored by the Malta Area Chamber of Commerce. You don't need to be a golfer to enjoy this great evening out, supporting our local bars and restaurants. We provide all the equipment; you just need to bring yourself and three of your friends.

An eight-hole course awaits your team, with each stop on the course designed by the local establishment. Stops will be at the Tin Cup, Kid Curry, Westside Casino, the GN, the Mint, Stockman's, the Lucky Bullet and Stretch's.

It all gets underway with registration, opening at 5 p.m. at the GN. Each team will draw a starting location, and after that, the route you take through the course is up to you. Mulligan's and 50/50 will be available for purchase. After completing the course, meet us back at the Mint for awards.

Add some additional fun to the evening by dressing up in your best costumes. Last year's Putt Crawl saw fast food, hillbillies, Waldo, Scooby Doo and hippies walking around downtown. Those will be hard to beat, so start thinking now. Prizes will be awarded to the best team costume.

Prizes will also be handed out for the best overall score, the worst overall score and best course stop. The cost for a four person team is $60.
