Phillips County 4-H Shooting Sports readies for shoot

The Phillips County 4-H Shooting Sports will begin their postal shoot. Youth ages nine as of October 1, 2016 through age 18 are eligible to participate in air rifle and archery.

Youth need to be 12 years old in order to participate in air pistol.

Shooting times in Malta will begin at 1 p.m. and end by 6 p.m. on Sunday for air rifle and air pistol. Archery will be offered on Sunday and Monday’s only. Times will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The fee for shooting this year will be $30 for the first discipline and $25 for the second discipline. Times to shoot will be on a first come first serve basis.

All fees and paperwork will need to be filled out prior to the first night of shooting.
