One Nation, Under God
The Loring Woman's club Dance will go in the history books as the first one that the electricity went out for four hours and we kept the party rockin'! A huge storm blew through about 8:30, lots of lightning and thunder, wind, hail and rain! Close to 9 the power went out! Luckily, the ladies had put out some candles and people used cell phone flashlights to see. Kenny Clark rigged up a generator for the band to keep playing! Around 12:30, the band and bar started packing out and the power came on a little before one! It was phenomenal!
The winner of the hot tub was Ron Scott and Jason Morrison won the Grizzly cooler! Laura Pankratz presented a plaque from the Malta Trails to Paula Morrison and Thrivent for helping.
Dixie Stordahl went to Malta on Sunday and stopped to visit Debbie Dyrdahl. Leroy thought I'd stopped to mow the yard, but I let him do it while I talked with Deb! We laughed and cried about things past, present and future!
Carmen and Matt Norville, of Whitehall, Krystal and Bryce Simonson of Billings, were in the area this past weekend.
Kent and Reene Wasson celebrated their 60 birthdays together with a surprise party at the Tin Cup hosted by Kyle and Kellie Wasson and Nicole and Kent Wood! I'm sure it was a huge surprise!
The North Country Mini Mavs are the junior high volleyball champions for 2016! Char Wasson was a coach and Kia Wasson, Kelsee Cummings and Hannah Hanley were team members from Whitewater!
Matt and Heather Simonson attended the Malta Mustang football game in Big Fork and then took Trace, Trey, and Kendall to the Grizzly game in Missoula.
I'm not really ready for the big change in temperature predicted, but better be so I can start looking forward to spring again! Have a good week!
