Phillips County Proud event draws nearly 300

Nearly 300 people filed into the Milk River Pavilion in Malta on Saturday night to take part in the first Phillips County Proud Celebration which boasted free food, games for the kiddos, live music and a presentation of county families, organizations and businesses who have called this area home for over the last 100 years.

"The Ranchers Stewardship Alliance is a rancher-led conservation organization and the ranching community is part Phillips County and ranching sustains a lot of our economy," said Leo Barthelmess, President of the RSA. "We just want to celebrate everybody in the county."
