One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for September 21, 2016

Jim and Pat Murdock attended church services at the Scandia Church south of Malta on the 100th birthday! It was a full house and talks were given by Rick Mikkelson, Ron Lundman and Pat (Solberg) Murdock, whose parents were some of the church’s original members.

Pat, Jim and Jimmy Murdock were among the guests at the outdoor wedding of Amber Simpson and Joe Effling. It was a perfect evening at the Big Barn at Sleeping Buffalo for the reception and dance.

Little Ryett Anderson, son of Brie and Jett, celebrated his second birthday on September 9 at his home in Whitewater.

Pat and Hector Murdock (grandson) attended the Saco Fun Days and enjoyed it all.

Get well wishes to Margie O. and Patty Young and all cold and flu victims.

Welcome to the couple from Havre visiting the Hellies in Whitewater.

Here’s a note to the Malta Athletic Club. Why don’t you give athletic clothes, shoes or lunch money away instead of guns? You could sell more tickets and help more people.

The junior high has a volleyball games in Whitewater on Saturday.

Congratulations to all volleyball players and to the Harriers.

Helen and Brady DePuydt – of Saco – had dinner at the North 40 and visited fiends here.

There was a game of Fantasy Football played at the North 40 (for your information, the game is played on computers and a television screen.)

Linda and Janet Berg, former Whitewater High School graduates, went to Billings.

Loulabelle Bessell, Ree Simonson and others attended the Historic Walk at the H.G. Robinson House and Phillips County Museum on Sunday.

I visited my friends Pearl Peacher and Leona Siewing in Malta.

Nights are cool – 44 degrees last night.

Take care,

Helen
