One Nation, Under God

Red Cross Report for September 21, 2016

Thursday, September 15, 2016, the American Red Cross had a very productive blood drive with 57 presenting, resulting in 51 usable units. For various reasons, six presenters were deferred but are urged to continue trying to give the gift of life, blood.

A one gallon pin was given to Carol Brown and Bryan Raymond; Terry Lodmell and Eric Wilke were presented with two gallon pins.

Blood is needed no matter what time of the year and all types are gratefully accepted.

Potential donors are urged to sign up under the Rapid Pass to expedite the process thereby enabling the staff to process more donors.

The next blood drive is December 1, 2016, at the Malta Lutheran Church.
