One Nation, Under God
Many people went to Fort Peck boating, to the lake or to the Sleeping Buffalo resort for Labor Day, as it is the last summer holiday.
It rained about ½ inch in Whitewater, and there was more rain in the rest of the county.
The Andersons and Elaine (her mom) have had lots of company. So have the Hellie and Taylor families. All are welcome in Whitewater.
Special welcome to the new school history teacher, Ms. Michelle Spicher.
The Hills traveled to visit family. Lyn is at school again.
Labor Day weekend there were many activities. I went to see the wagon train parade. Although it is smaller than some years; the wagon train still is a lovely reminder of the past. There were also many outriders on beautiful horses. Patty and Steve Young went as Tanner Anderson’s son (Patty’s grandson) rode a little pony in the parade!
Curt and Janice Reichelt and others finished combining and the crop went high. Farmers hope the prices of grain go up though.
Jeanie Green took her grandkids on an Amtrak ride recently.
There was a good attendance at Saco Fun Days and lots of good food.
Sunday, September 4, I went to the birthday party of Bessie Mae Waters’ 100th birthday and congratulations to her and all September birthdays.
There was a 50th anniversary party for the Stevens in Malta the same day. Congratulations to them all.
Take care.
Helen.
