Whist

On Tuesday, August 30, Byron Ereaux took first place with 44 points followed closely by Nina Jones who scored 41 for second place. The traveling prize was awarded to Nina.

Pinochle

On Thursday, September 1, Jerry Depute notched 7,500 points good for first place while Ron Lundman's score of 6,430 was good for second. The traveling prize was awarded to both Sherman Doucette and Marlyn Orahood.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, September 6, Agnes and Clara dropped Pearl and Curt in three straight, 13-8, 14-10 and 14-11, sweeping the whist action on the day.

On Friday, September 9, Mary and Agnes skunked Pearl and Clara in all three games, 17-7, 16-6 and 15-10 and ruled the day.

“We had the crack, but it must have been broken because we couldn’t get any cards right,” Pearl said of the defeat.

Whist

On Tuesday, September 6, Ken Razicka took first place with 46 points while Clarence Blunt and Jerry Depute tied for second place after each neting 40. The Traveling prize was awarded to Clarence.

Pinochle

Nina Jones scored 5,630, good for first place, Roy Baeth scored 5,490 to earn second place and the traveling prize was awarded to both Nina Jones and Byron Ereaux.

Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, August 31, Margo Rush and Byron Ereaux captured first place. Second was awarded to Bob Maxie and Madelyn Anderson.

The following Wednesday saw Madelyn Anderson and Keith Stine earn first place. John Norgon and Malcolm Clouse tied with Bonnie Millar and Margo Rush for second.
