Malta VFW Auxiliary

9-14. The Malta VFW Auxiliary will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, September 14, 6 p.m. at the VFW Club. 2017 membership dues are due.

MT Veteran Affairs

9-15 On Thursday, September 15, Judy or Steve, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs, will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you would like to apply for benefits with the VA please come at the appointed time and bring a copy of your discharge/separation (DD214) papers with you. Dart Tournament at VFW

9-17. A Beginning of Season Dart Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 17 following a 5 p.m. league meeting at the VFW Club in Malta. See the advertisement in this week’s PCN for more information.

Phillips County Proud

9-17 Everyone is invited to Phillips County Proud Saturday, September 17 at the Milk River Pavilion. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for BBQ, games and music sponsored by the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance.

PC Farm Bureau Annual Meeting

9-19. The Phillips County Farm Bureau will hold their annual meeting on Monday, September 19 at the Great Northern Lodge Room in Malta. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow. Members are asked to bring food items to the event, which will be donated to the Malta Food Bank.

Malta Chamber Meeting

Kiwanis Meeting

9-20. Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, September 20 at 6 p.m. at West Side Cafe. Mark Douglass, Executive Director of Hill County CASA (court-appointed special advocate) will speak about the foster care program. Public is welcome to attend.

Malta Walleye Meeting Rescheduled

9-22. The Malta Unlimited Walleye Chapter has changed the Sept. 8 meeting to Thursday, Sept. 22 The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Stretch’s.

PC Shooting Sports Meeting
