Dora Henry reports a new great grandson born Sunday ,August 7 in Great Falls to Jim and Sarah Lautenschlager. He joins two sisters, Delaney and Harper in the family home.
Dora accompanied her daughter Teresa of Belgrade and great grandson Roper James Leys of Choteau to Choteau for a few days and helped Roper celebrate his first birthday. Teresa and Dora returned to Dodson on Monday.
Nephew Joe and Barbara Scheafer from Richland, S.C., visited Edward and Polly Solberg last week.
Polly Solberg left on the train on Monday for Minnesota to visit a 101-year-old aunt and other relatives. She returned home on Friday after a full and enjoyable week.
Dora Henry attended a COA meeting in Malta on Wednesday. July is the beginning of the new year.
It was good to see former Dodsonite’s Charlie and Sharon Kienenberger and Sid and Merrimae Solberg at the Dodson services on Sunday among other guests.
Dora Henry attended the Fort Peck Theater on Sunday to see Mary Poppins With Jan Edmister and other Malta ladies. It was a very good performance and very enjoyable.
Wink and Terri Cole had numerous kids and grandkids home over the week and fair weekend and were able to meet the new grandson from Colorado. Wink and Terri enjoyed the Fort Peck Theater on Sunday.
Bruce and Jenny (Miller) Brown and three children, Aaron, Dobnnan and Leah from Burnsville, Minnesota came to visit her mother and other relatives and were guests at Edward and Polly Solberg’s. It is so nice to have Selma Miller back home in Malta after her stay in Billings. We wish her well in continued healing at home.
Teachers were back in classrooms Monday, students back in classrooms Wednesday—remember to drive carefully and watch for little ones darting around.
