One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for July 27, 2016

The violence on TV news is so terrible, both locally and internationally. We certainly need Gun Control and prayers everywhere.

Many attended the funeral for Mark Slade, including Justin Austin and Dale Green of Minnesota. Both are former WHS graduates.

“Hope you are better.” To Margie Olson, who fell and broke her arm.

There was a farewell party after Lutheran Church for Carolyn and Hubie Simanton. They are moving south to be closer to their children. They sold their farm to Stenswicks, rumor says. Carol Simanton has been the school cook and ambulance driver. Good luck to them.

Lorraine Ronald McAuly from Florida have been visiting here in Montana and Whitewater. Lorraine was a great-granddaughter to John Heron who lived in the little shack (still standing near my house.) John was a shoe cobbler who repaired shoes years ago.

Ron and Lorraine McAuly, Sally Austin and I had lunch at North 40. They (McAulys) had been to Fork’s Cemetery where they put a monument on John’s grave.

Justin Austin cleaned my rain gutters while he was here.

We had so much rain that our gardens, grass and everything is green in Whitewater, Mont.

Note: Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched.
