One Nation, Under God
It’s hard to believe that there is just one month left until school starts again! Where did the summer go? The Phillips County Fair is also coming up quickly, about 2 weeks!
LuluBelle Besel and Dixie Stordahl were among those who attended the Fire Pit Lecture at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum on the Misconceptions about Dinosaurs.
Dixie Stordahl helped out at the post office in Loring when Jeanie Green went to a funeral.
Kenny and Brenda Clark and children returned from their vacation. Judging from the kids’ reports, they had a wonderful time!
The whole town of Loring has been mowed! It looks wonderful!
I had the good fortune to be honored at a private harp concert last week. The young lady had been playing for the Independent Baptist Church at the Business Spot and the Wishers and the other family were just taking a few breathes before the family headed out. I struck up a conversation and the young lady asked if I would like a concert. She had travelled all the way from Georgia with her parents to help out with the Wishers church mission. The young lady was a very accomplished musician! I thoroughly enjoyed the mini concert! Thank you!
Be sure to say Thank you when you have something happening to your family or positions. You never know if you’ll have another chance to say something to help alleviate the problem!
Have a wonderful week now while I get my news column ready for next week!
Rusty and Tracy Cowan from Great Falls and Theresa Cowan from Havre visited with Tom and Dixie Stordahl on Saturday. Theresa is Dixie's Aunt.. They hadn't been to the farm since Dad and Mom had the auction in 2001.
