Local Gleanings for the week of July 13, 2016

Malta

§ Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line Malta Extension named Justine Lamb as their Youth of the Month for June. Congrats, Justine.

§ Happy birthday wishes to Heather Fromme, her birthday was July 9, and to Sherry Demarais whose birthday is on July 12.

§ Thank you to the Malta Chamber, the City of Malta and all who donated money for the firework show at Trafton Park last Monday night. Also, hats off to the Malta City and Phillips County Volunteer Fire Departments for once again setting off the fireworks and for setting out the American Flags around town and local businesses.

§ Following the firework show at Trafton, Mother Nature held her own show with thunder and lightning throughout the county.

Happy belated birthday to Marissa Sandvick who turned 12 last week.

Greg and Katie Skiff celebrated their 16th Wedding Anniversary last week. Congrats to two wonderful people.

§ Starting on July 6, Senior Meals are being served at the North 40. The PCN will attempt to update the weekly menus as they become available and place them under the “Briefly” section each week.
