Malta holds first girls' softball game in recent history

Last Wednesday marked a great moment for the community of Malta as the Milk River Baseball Club hosted its first girls softball scrimmage. It was an event that had 15 players between two teams.

The event was hosted by a few coaches including Dean Yeadon, Shane Anderson and Donnie Lynn.

Yeadon, who lives in Malta with his wife Ella and their children, is originally from Rhode Island. Yeadon has been a big part of the youth baseball leagues but he saw a need for an all girls league.
